Description

For all of you who have asked for a stainless steel insert - we've partnered with Ethics Archery and we're pleased to offer their solid stainless outsert system for GrizzlyStik arrows!

Sold by the 12-pack

They're available for our 170, 240, 320, and 400 spines in stainless steel. In time we will stock the aluminum version as well.

This is a 2-piece system. A post is glued inside the shaft and then a supportive sleeve is glued over that. You're not going to find a stronger outsert system anywhere.

The posts are weight adjustable, simply cut them off at the grooves with a hacksaw.

Our 170 arrows take the .312 sleeve. The post weighs 290 grains and the sleeve is 110 grains for a total of 400 grains.  The 170 post is weight adjustable from 200 grains to 290 grains. (Then you add the 110-grain sleeve for a minimum weight of 400 grains and a maximum of 310.

Our 240 arrows take the .295 sleeve. The post weighs 160 grains and the sleeve is 90 grains for a total of 250 grains.  The 240 post is weight adjustable from 85 grains to 160 grains. (Then you add the 90-grain sleeve for a minimum weight of 175 grains and a maximum of 250.

Our 320 arrows take the .287 sleeve. The post weighs 165 grains and the sleeve is 55 grains for a total of 220 grains. The 320 post is weight adjustable from 90 grains to 165 grains. (Then you add the 55-grain sleeve for a minimum weight of 130 gains to a maximum weight of 220 grains.)

Our 400 arrows take the .276 sleeve. The post weighs 165 grains and the sleeve is 60 grains for a total of 225 grains. The 320 post is weight adjustable from 75 grains to 165 grains. (Then you add the 60-grain sleeve for a minimum weight of 135 gains to a maximum weight of 225 grains.)

Note: We typically use a heat activated adhesive to glue in our inserts, but a high-quality slow cure epoxy may also be used for gluing these in.
