“The first part of my safari is done. Two lions down. The lion – he got angry after I hit him. After the arrow came out the offside, he grabbed it in his mouth and snapped it with his teeth. It’s the most amazing display of badass I have ever seen.

The lioness was 2 complete pass throughs. My PH’s really liked your 950-grain Momentum TDT arrow with the Ashby broadhead. They said it looked like Shaka Zulu.” – Mike Poindexter

The ever-elusive leopard is an extremely technical and challenging bowhunt for even the most experienced dangerous game hunter. Steve Konieczny trusted his Big 5 safari to our 650 grain (all in) GrizzlyStik Momentum arrows tipped with 2oo grain Maasai broadheads.

Steve was rewarded with one shot – one kill, pass through performance on his record book Tom taken with Watts Trophy Hunting Safaris.

“Dangerous 7 Bowhunting Professional Hunter” – If you’ve not hunted Africa, there is a good chance you have never heard the name Strangles Middleton – he’s a dangerous game specialist. It can be argued that over the past 10 years, no other PH that has guided more successful Dangerous 7 bowhunts than Strang.

Based in Zambia, Strang is one of the very few PH’s that can still get archery tags issued for all Big 5 (less rhino) plus hippo and croc. Not only does Strang guide bowhunters but he has successfully bowhunted many of the Dangerous 7 himself. His arrow and broadhead system of choice? GrizzlyStikMomentum TDT arrows tipped with 125 grain Silver Flame XL broadheads.

Mick Cheshire trusted his Kalahari lion safari to 950 grain (all in) GrizzlyStik Momentum arrows tipped with 315 grain forged Ashby broadhead from his 70# bow. Both Mick and his PH, Harry Nel of African Arrow Safaris enjoyed Big 5 success with a one shot, one kill on this trophy male lion.

"Hello Kitty. I got lucky on my hunt in BC and got a good Tom. Weather conditions were absolutely horrific for hunting with the winter blast that went through a few days before I arrived dumping powder snow everywhere that didn’t leave a good track. Low was –39F on this hunt and we had highs near –15F. It was tough to be outside in those conditions and even more difficult on the poor hounds, but they did their job."Rob Neilson

Rob used GrizzlyStik Momentum arrows and 200 grain Samurai broadheads.

"As promised some photos of a Cape Buffalo and Lion taken with Ashby b/heads. The interesting thing, or I should say impressive thing - the b/heads passed through heavy bone but the heads were still shaving sharp. On this buffalo it was rib on entry and exit, the tip of the head snapped off but it still passed through both sides and was razor sharp. The buff only went 30 yards and stopped moving in about 1 minute. Andrew Parsons

"Finally after getting into position and keeping an eye out for the second lion I got up to 30 yards.  He growled and was staring straight at me.  I drew and side stepped to the left as he turned to face me slightly.  I released the arrow and everything went in to slow motion.  The lion let out a loud growl and started to charge at me!  Steven the PH was on my right and a little behind me, he started yelling for me to come.  You don't have to tell me twice!  I made it to the truck in about 2.1 seconds, leaped on to the side of the rack and crawled in to the truck.  I broke the stabilizer off my bow in the process.  Turns out the lion only came a few yards then turned and went the other direction.  I looked at Tim and he was shaking, I looked at my legs and they were also!  Wow!  We followed him up with the truck and found him in a very thick bush."

"Garrett, Nice to hear you again. Yes, I have been busy with lion. Very difficult hunt, at night and very noisy. I used your GrizzlyStik with 635 grain with your 150 gr broadhead total weight 785 gr.

It worked very good. The arrow has broken the spine of the lion and died. 20 meters far with 80 pounds bow. Obviously the broadhead has disappeared inside the bone, but it did the job. I will order safari stiks next weeks to be used in elephant hunt."

This hunt was booked with Neil Summers of Bowhunting Safari Consultants.

"My first big game stickbow kill!!! I was able to take this beautiful Cougar using a Momentum shaft, tipped with a 150 grain Sliver Flame XL. The arrow entered dead center of the shoulder on a quartering-to angle. The Silver Flame XL split the shoulder blade before entering the body cavity and ended up near his rear-end. I knew that it was a dead cat, just as soon as the arrow connected. He hit the ground, made two lunges down the mountain before piling up and was dead before the dogs got to him. My biggest fear as a bowhunter, is an inhumane kill or worse yet, a lost animal. I couldn't have asked for a cleaner or quicker kill than what I got in this situation. I am completely sold on the performance of the Momentum EFOC/Silver Flame XL and will not be going afield with anything else this next hunting season! A big thank you to GrizzlyStik for providing products that are unmatched in the industry and giving this bowhunter peace of mind."  - Luke Johnson - Watching The Back Trail
